As one of the original eleven physical therapy clinics in Alberta, Strathcona Physical Therapy has been located just off of Whyte ave for over 55 years in the Strathcona Healthcare building. We are primarily an orthopaedic physical therapy clinic and have physical therapists that specialize in TMJ and vertigo. We have contracts with Alberta Health Services, Worker’s Compensation Board, and many insurance companies. Strathcona Physical Therapy is closely associated with the University of Alberta department of Physical Therapy and the School of Dentistry Oral Medicine program. Also has been apart of the Alberta sports medicine association. Ed was chair to one of the first national orthopaedic conference in not only Edmonton but Canada. Strathcona has been apart of the division of sports at the national level and Canadian private practice association at the national level.
